The Moment When…

The Moment When…

The moment when you realize your kids are growing up way to fast.

The Moment When...

I’ve been a mom for only 7 years. {almost}  Don’t get me wrong I know my kids are still young.  They are just growing up WAY TOO FAST!

I wish I would have listened to everyone who told me enjoy this season.  They won’t stay small forever.

I didn’t get a chance to really enjoy being pregnant.  I was too busy working and going to school with both.

The Moment When...

The Moment When...

I didn’t get a chance to really remember my sweet kids as babies.  I was too stressed out about work, cleaning house, and nap times.  🙂

The Moment When...

The Moment When...

I didn’t get a chance to remember the last time I nursed or changed the last diaper.

I didn’t get  a chance to remember the last time I rocked my sweet babies to sleep.

The Moment When...

It all happened before my eyes.  I blinked and they were 4 and 6!!! WOW!

The Moment When...

Now I know you are thinking they are just 4 and 6.  But I don’t have that much time left with them where they are with only Corey and me.  I want them to know how to be strong Christians.  I want them to know how to treat their spouses.  I want them to know how to be Christian parents.  I want them to know that family comes first.

The Moment When...

I want them to know the power of prayer.  I want them to know how to make wise decisions. I want them to know how to love!!

The Moment When...

There is so much I want to teach and do with them before they go off to junior high, high school, and college.  After letting my decision to slow down a bit resonate. {you can read about it here}  I’ve decided that it is a great thing.  I can enjoy them a bit more since the last few years have been a blur do to being sick. {check that out here}

I’m glad God is allowing me to realize this while they are still young.   I don’t want to miss the last time being called mommy by these sweet littles!

The Moment When...

Being called Mom is fun and all but being called Mommy seems so much sweeter at this moment in my life.  🙂

I don’t want to miss the last time we ride our 3 Wheeler to the pool.

The Moment When...

I want to spend just a little more time with my sweet babies before they grow up.  I want to cherish these sweet memories forever.

What about you?  How are you cherishing these memories.  I would love to hear your ideas.
