So many of you have emailed wanting some snack ideas. It is so hard to reach for healthy food because there is so much junk food that is readily available!!! I get it, really I do!!

For me the easiest snack is fruit or veggies.  You can take them anywhere and all you need is a napkin to wipe off the juice. 🙂

  • You can cut up an apple and sprinkle a little lemon juice on them to keep them from browning or just take the entire thing with you.

  • Berries are in season right now and those can be easily carried with you. {rinse with a tablespoon of white vinegar, rinse in a strainer, and they will stay fresh and crisp way longer}  You can also put them in a yummy salad!!

  • Cut up carrots, celery, cucumber, red peppers, and broccoli and dip in the yummy homemade ranch dip seen here is a great snack too.
  • Pop your own popcorn and take to work with you. Try to stay away from the bag kind because there is too much junk in them.
  • Make guacamole, hummus, or salsa ahead of time and cut up some red or yellow peppers for dipping.
  • Cut up fruit and make a fruit salad!!!

  • I also really like cutting up different veggies and spraying liquid aminos on them!!

Below are some other options for you too.

  1. Light Yogurt, topped with 2 tbsp of Wheat Germ and a small piece of fruit. (200-250 calories)
  2. Light Yogurt with 10 Almonds and a small piece of fruit (200-250 calories)
  3. Light cheese stick with 10 Almonds and a small piece of fruit (200-250 calories)
  4. Apple with 1 Tbsp of Nut Butter (150 calories)Need some snack ideas?
  5. Light Cottage Cheese with fruitNeed some snack ideas?
  6. Turkey Pepperoni, 17 slices is only 80 calories & 9 grams of protein!
  7. Enjoy a cup of hot Green Tea !  It is calorie free and so good for you!

Tip: When you get home from the grocery store pack a bunch of snacks in small snack baggies that way when you are ready to go all you have to do is grab a bag or two and go!
