Need Help Staying Motivated During A Work Out?
I have had several people ask me how I stay motivated during my workout!!
It is super tough to do I will admit. My advice is to find a partner
if that works for you. Sometimes this helps make you stay moving during your workouts or join us in Humble Area Adventure Boot Camp.
I personally like to work out alone, but I do crank up the headphones.
I love listening to 3rd day, Building 429, Toby Mac, DC Talk, Casting Crowns, and News Boys. What do you like to listen to? I use this as my quiet time. Working out just relaxes me and makes me feel productive!!
I will also right down my workout before hand. I’m the type that if it is written down then it will get done! If you need workout ideas check out my Sweat Sessions here!

All these things keep me motivated and focused, but there are times I don’t feel like being faithful to my workout routine!!
But remember sometimes being faithful means doing the mundane. Sure we get burnt out and have our off days, but being faithful means doing the little everyday things that nobody else wants to.
It means staying focused and persevering through the bad days and the good days. It means not giving in to the way you feel at the moment.
You get up do your workout and make the best possible food choices everyday. Don’t give in to the temptation to stay in bed or eat that chocolate cake. Don’t say oh well I’ve had a bad day I’m too tired to get my cardio in.
You can do it. You can be the one that shows others that it’s not that hard. You can be faithful to your fitness goals. It just means staying focused and relentless to your fitness goals. No more excuses. Remember choose your hard! Make today better then the last!!! When you consciously make these choices you see change.
